Charles H. Noyes Statue
Ascending from the expansive Runnels County Courthouse lawn is the Charles H. Noyes Monument. Created in 1919 by renowned Italian sculptor Pompeo Coppini, the life-sized bronze statue depicts a horse beside a young Noyes, a rancher’s son who died in a range accident and is dedicated to the "Spirit of the Texas Cowboy."
